If you follow the Guardians, here's an offseason loss. The Cincinnati Reds named Joe Torres their major league pitching coach on Wednesday, and WKBN says Derek Johnson, the coach he replaces, was not retained. Torres had been the Guardians' assistant pitching coach.

Torres spent 10 seasons in Cleveland's organization, including the last five on the major league staff alongside pitching coach . Between 2022 and 2026, the Guardians had more pitchers 30 or younger with a career WAR of 1+ than any team in baseball.
